As Vietnam goes "GREEN", cutting down pollution and living healthier, big cities like HCMC have or will soon adopt environmentally-friendly transportation. The city government has encouraged its citizens to embrace this transport practice - either using mass transit or riding bikes and electric scooters. 

Above is one of the 43 bike rental spots run by the TRI NAM Group. All you have to do is download the TNGO mobile app and follow its instruction to register. Using this app and scanning the QR code of a particular bike, you can unlock and use that bike to move around.

The cost is amazingly cheap - the first 15 minutes are free, then 22 cents for 30 minutes, or 44 cents for 1 hour (in USD).
